Montreal based band Endast are trying a new approach to get funding for their next studio album. Their plan is to ask their fans to pledge whatever money they can towards the recording/mastering of the album. There are different levels of pledging so the more a fan gives, the more the band will give in return. They are ready to come to your house and make dinner for you. At the highest level of pledging Big Metal James (lead singer) will get your name tattooed on inappropriate parts of his body.
Endast has been an independent band since day one so they naturally don’t have big budgets behind their videos and albums. They are really challenging their fans to become a crucial part of the bands progress. I hope the guys can pull it off and get the album done through donations of their fans.
