Boardwalk Empire is set to premiere it’s third season on HBO, September 16th. To promote this event they’ve teamed up with Uber car service and are offering NYC residents taxi rides in the raddest gangster-mobiles out there. Just download the company’s Android or Iphone app to schedule your pickup [between 11:am & 6:pm] and FLASHBACK to the 1920′s with your choice of Bentley, Packard or Rolls-Royce – just to name a few. Last year’s big NYC promo gave the public the chance to ride around in super vintage subway cars – debatable on which is cooler.

Australian beer, Carleton Draught is a definite trend setter. From their hilarious TV spots to their Social Media follow up, they’re definitely doing it right down under.

The spot below was an internationally viral hit on Youtube, for great reason. But the Carleton Draught team took this success a huge step further and personally thanked everyone on Twitter for the overwhelming response. They took it as far as including personal quips in each tweet. Someone get these guys a beer.

Carlton Draught is a beer you can pretty much drink only in Australia, but its TV commercials always go viral internationally—and with good reason.

They are fantastic. Carlton campaigns are closely watched in ad agencies all over the world, and they tend to win big at international advertising award shows.

Why can’t American beermakers—this means you, Budweiser and Coors—take a page out of the Carlton playbook?

Here’s the new Carlton ad, from agency Clemenger BBDO, which shows a classic cops v. robbers chase conducted on foot because no one wants to drink and drive.
