#OneDecision, as announced at SXSW in Austin, TX last week, is TOMS third global ‘One for One’ initiative. Including a Landmark café in downtown Austin, TOMS Founder and CEO Blake Mycoskie announced the new venture Tuesday March 11th as a part of the festival’s keynote speaker series.
Following the same model as both TOMS footwear and eyewear programs, for each bag of coffee purchased TOMS will give one week of clean water to a person in need. Putting water back into the same communities the beans were originally sourced from, TOMS mission includes direct trade with local farmers from four different regions around the world: Rawanda, Malawi, Guatemala, and Carpe Diem.
